This project is part of the Cross Island Line (CRL), Singapore’s longest fully underground MRT line, extending over 50 kilometres. The CRL is designed to enhance connectivity across the island, serving both current and future developments in the eastern, western, and northeastern corridors. Key urban and economic hubs connected by the CRL include the Jurong Lake District, Punggol Digital District, and the Changi region.
Contract 116 (CR116) – Package E entails the design, construction, and completion of Ang Mo Kio Station, a Civil Defence (CD) underground interchange station. The works under this package also includes Mined underpass links to station entrances, Cut-and-cover cross-over tunnel, Twin-bored tunnels, One intermediate Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) launch shaft, Major addition and alteration (A&A) works to the existing operational North-South Line (NSL) Ang Mo Kio Station (NS16).
This project scope includes the provision of Qualified Person (QP) supervision and Qualified Site Supervision (QSS) services for the construction of Ang Mo Kio Interchange Station and its associated works, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, safety, and quality requirements throughout all construction phases.
