He had graduated with honours in Civil Engineering at Bapuji Institute of Engineering technology (Vishweshwaraiah Technological University, India) and completed his Master’s at MS Ramaiah institute of technology (Vishweshwaraiah Technological University, India). His areas of expertise include project management, design, co-ordination and supervision of industrial and commercial structures, structural steelwork, precast concrete works and infrastructural works.
Some of the recent projects successfully handled by Mr Lakshmeekantha include Lube Oil Blending Plant at Tuas for Total Oil Asia-Pacific, Lube Oil Blending Plant & Grease Manufacturing Plant at Tuas for Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd, Factory building for DS Brown Singapore Pte Ltd at Sungei Kadut Avenue, School upgrading works for Ministry of Education, High and Heavy Storage Facilities for Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Singapore Pte Ltd.
